Creative Writers’ Weekend for SFX Students

The SFXC English department is excited to announce that a Creative Writers’ Weekend will be run on October 20 and 21. (End of Week 1 in Term 4) This inexpensive overnight excursion (being held in Canberra) is open to all students in years 9 – 12.

This excursion is for those who are interested in creative writing, want to improve their creative writing skills and are interested in hearing from expert novelist/poets and writers about the writing processes they use.

Anyone interested should see Mrs Wyche in the English staff room.  

Additionally, all students are welcome to come along the SFXC Creative Writers’ Group, held every Even Wednesday from 3pm – 4pm. Come along to meet our members and learn more about creative writing!
