Cricket season is here!
October 22, 2021Ginninderra Junior Cricket Club ready to welcome new and existing players for the seasons
Given the announcement of lockdown lifting from October 15 and organised sport to re-commence October 29, cricket can now plan for the commencement of the season.
Ginninderra Junior Cricket Club is working hard to connect with local schools and the community to ensure kids are outside being physically active and looking after their wellbeing. Lockdown has been hard on our kids and they are looking forward to getting outside and getting active with their friends. Ginninderra has a special focus on the positive aspects of cricket, particularly values-based development. They don’t want to just produce good cricketers, but good people. The club also has a strong focus on inclusiveness and diversity. Last season, their junior cricketers participated in a game against the Blind Cricket NSW team and they are looking to do this again this season. If you have children who have specific needs, please reach out to the club directly so they can discuss how to get them involved in cricket.
