Year 12 meet with UAC

On Tuesday 8 March, Year 12 students gathered in the theatre for a Zoom presentation by Trudy Noller, Manager, Community Engagement, from the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

Trudy discussed:

• the university application process
• access schemes – including Schools Recommendation Schemes, Equity Scholarships and Educational Access Schemes
• early entry direct to Uni’s
• adjustment factors and selection ranks.

It was a very worthwhile session for the students to learn how best to maximise their chances of being accepted into tertiary education as they embark on their final year and prepare for their ASTs in September.
