Social Studies demonstration halls

Year 9 Social Studies students have been working on a Sustainability Action assessment task.

This has involved students conducting an analysis of the College’s current sustainability practices and developing future sustainability initiatives. The assessment task concluded this week with students presenting their initiatives at a Demonstration Hall held for their peers and College stakeholders.

Students had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to these stakeholders and respond to questions about the cost benefit analysis and feasibility of their solution. The judging panel are reviewing the ideas and a prize for the most innovative and feasible solution will be presented at an upcoming Year 9 Assembly.
