Partner portraits

To create these interesting images, students in Ms Garrett’s Year 9 Photography class first studied the work of Moroccan photographer Hicham Benahoud.

In particular, students focussed on his body of work ‘The Classroom’, where he presented students with various objects and asked them to pose with them while he photographed them in unusual poses.

Similarly, the Year 9 students were presented with a box of diverse objects and asked to select a minimum of two to use when photographing a portrait of their partner. These are some of the results.
