Counselling services are provided by CatholicCare, with two qualified counsellors being placed at the College. Students may self refer to the counselling service, or they may be referred by pastoral leaders, teachers, Year Coordinators or by parents. The counsellors also work closely with families to ensure maximum support for all students.
The role of the College counselling service is to support the emotional wellbeing and mental health of all students. The counsellors work in close collaboration with the Pastoral Care team and also make use of outside and community agencies if appropriate.
How to contact the service:
Often a parent/carer will initially speak to the Year Coordinator to discuss their concerns and the option of counselling. However parents/carers can email firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com or call to discuss any confidential wellbeing concerns or make an online referral at https://catholiccare.force.com/housing/s/school-referral-form.
