Congratulations to Jeb Smith who was recently selected as part of the Brumbies academy. Jeb was one of five boys selected from the recent Brumbies Gold Cup. This is a fantastic achievement and we wish Jeb all the best!

7/8 Boys Cricket

The 7/8 boys Cricket Cup was a fantastic day, 8 overs a side, everyone batting, everyone bowling. Music played throughout the day and the Sydney Thunder “Thunderbus” arrived to help the boys with their skills. The boys played with great spirit all day, we only won one game, but the day was not about winning, that was made clear at the start, the day was to help the boys get back into cricket, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

As this is the final Newsletter of the year, I’d like to sincerely thank all students, parents/carers and staff for making 2018 a fantastic year of sport. SFX had strong participation numbers and achieved great success in many sports. I look forward to seeing this continue in 2019!
