A visit to the gallery
June 27, 2022On Wednesday 15 June, Year 7/8 Foundations Art class went on an excursion to the National Gallery of Australia (NGA).
The class enjoyed the brisk morning air in the NGA Sculpture Garden as they explored the fabulous artworks including Bert Flugelman’s, Cones (as seen in the photo).
They then went on a guided tour of the Portrait Gallery, learning how to ‘read’ portraits and look for clues about the subject’s life in the artwork.
