Endangered Skills and Trade Show

October 27, 2022

The National Endangered Skills and Trades Show is an annual event run by Endangered Heritage to showcase artisans, makers and repairers equipped with years of traditional knowledge. These traditional knowledge and skills are essential parts of our history.

On a beautiful sunny Canberra Spring morning, our Career Advisors set off with two Year 12 students to investigate this Trade Show. It was filled with fascinating tradespersons who were very happy to share their knowledge and the challenges faced by their industries. They saw work showcased from clockmakers, forgers, furniture polishers and many other unique trades.
