From the Principal – 11 December 2023
December 11, 2023Last week our Year 12 students graduated from the College with exceptional results, each of them with a Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate and because of the many opportunities this school provides, outstanding ATARs, ASBAs, and Year 12 certification enabling entry to the Trades of their choice, Diploma courses at CIT, early entry to universities across our nation in the degrees of their choice, graduation from Australian National University H Courses, and for some, entry to the workforce in the job of their choice. I am very proud of the class of Year 12 and the wonderful opportunity St Francis Xavier College and their parents have provided these young people to excel.
At a number of Awards ceremonies last week and this our Year 7 -10 students were celebrated for their academic achievement and their contribution to the community life of the College. Congratulations to these students for their dedication to their studies and their community leadership.
I wish to express my deep pride and gratitude to all of our students for their commitment, dignity and generosity. They are exceptional young people who are proud of the College, who work hard and do their very best to succeed in their academic and extra-curricular activities and pursuits.
Thank you to my staff whose generosity and commitment to our students has been integral to their success this year. This also extends to our parents. Your trust and confidence in the College and your willingness to work with my staff in our joint commitment to the success of the young people in our care is very much appreciated.
I wish each of you a joyful and blessed Christmas and look forward to working with you and your sons and daughters in 2024.
With best wishes
Sandra Darley
