Year 9 Volunteers

Congratulations to 9D1 who on Friday February 14th went out to EPIC to volunteer with the Lifeline Autumn Bookfair. 

The Year 9 Volunteering program is a wonderful aspect of Year 9, and was truly embraced by the students of 9D1. 

Students and staff sorted books, accepted donations, issued out water to busy volunteers, looked after the security for the Collection Room, returned books to tables, cleared away boxes, worked in the Tally room and assisted customers with their bags of books.

Students worked tirelessly during the day and were exhausted at the end. They were fantastic ambassadors for the College and enjoyed helping others.  Congratulations to all of 9D1, who have started their goal of achieving 2,019 hours of Volunteering.
