Stewards of Creation

September 10, 2019

This term, Year 7 students have been exploring how to be Stewards of Creation. The students have been able to identify the indivisible relationship between God, the Environment and Humans.

As part of this unit, Year 7 went to Tidbinbilla on Thursday 28 August to make meaningful connections to their roles as Stewards in our world.

Students got to explore natural wonders, such as Hanging Rock and its significance to Indigenous culture. They had the opportunity to learn about the lifestyles of the koalas and platypus in the nature reserve. Throughout the day, students were posed poignant questions about their role and the impact that they can have on the environment.

A great day was had by all…we even made some friends.
