Diverse Perspectives

The Senior Italian students had the opportunity to visit and view some Italian works of art as part of their Italian language studies at the National Art Gallery of Australia on 11 August.

The students are studying the unit titled ‘Diverse Perspectives’, where they are learning to express and appreciate diverse forms of communication such as visual and performing arts and how this has challenged thinking, behaviour and social systems. The students were given a tour and a thorough explanation of the various Italian artworks that are on display at the moment.

It was a wonderful and educational excursion for all concerned.
