Year 11 student Elijah Arranz has just spent a successful week at “Footlocker” in Sydney, doing his first stint of work experience.
With a shining smile and cheeky banter, Elijah warmed hearts of customers and staff of the Pitt st store.
Elijah suffered a brain injury in 2016 as a result of a freak skydiving accident, and his journey to recovery continues to be an inspiration to our local community.
It has been a long road for Elijah and his dedicated family, but it has been an extraordinary thing to witness his resilience and passion for life.
A keen sportsperson before his accident, Elijah’s dream for many years has been to own a vintage sneakers store, so Footlocker was a perfect place for him to do his work experience.
The staff at the store have thoroughly enjoyed their time with Eli, and a note was received from the store manager last week:
“Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be a part of Elijah’s experience.”
