English department shines bright

The College strives to embed the religious theme across the many faculties and the English department is no exception. This year’s theme is Be The Light—so we have recently made a wall display showing how light is portrayed in some examples of literature.

As critical thinkers, English students at SFX are often encouraged to consider how light and darkness can symbolize one or many things.

We hope this display offers ideas and insights for our students, as they consider their world and how it is reflected in literature.
