Migration Stories from our Community

This term, Year 7 Humanities are studying Migration and Liveability within Australia. One of their major assessment tasks is to write a Biography on an Australian Migrant. On Wednesday, 17th October, our Year 7s were lucky enough to hear the migration stories of some people in our very own community. Mr Ferenc, Ms Southwell, Ms Martens and Ms Zhou all shared their personal migration stories, while Mr Wetherell and Mrs Rodriguez shared the stories of their parents.
The Humanities teachers are so thankful for the support of the teachers and the invaluable experience they have offered the students. The students were engaged and attentive for all presentations, and we look forward to reading their biographies!
