Mitchell McNamara of Year 8 Tops State in Maths Competition

Last night, Mitchell McNamara of Year 8 was awarded the “Best in State” at the Australian Maths Trust Presentation night.

This evening is to recognise special achievement in the Australian Mathematics Competition.

Mitchell was aware that he had performed exceptionally well as he was awarded a prize for the competition (only awarded to top 0.3% of participants).

He then found out last night that he achieved the highest score in the ACT.
