Our new permaculture garden at SFX

After six months of planning, designing and consultation our new permaculture-based garden at SFX has started to take shape. Students, staff, landscapers and a permaculture community have all had input into the design of the garden and it is going to be very exciting when it is complete. Based on zones the completed garden will include a herb spiral, frog pond, sensory garden, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Bush Tucker zone, composting zone, worm buffets, chicken enclosure, fruits, flowers, vegetables and an outdoor learning space.

Our Green Team meet every Thursday lunchtime to work with the chickens and in the garden.
