Women in Defence

On the evening of Wednesday 14 September, Zoe C (Y12), Isla B (Y10) and Technologies and Design Coordinator Mr Stock attended the Women in Defence Awards dinner held at the National Arboretum.

It was an incredible opportunity for the students to engage with women in STEM fields within Defence and Defence industries—and they were two of only four students invited on the night!

The awards are held every year and recognise the incredible contributions women make to defending Australia. It was very motivational for Zoe and Isla to see what STEM careers are possible for young women.
