Youth Ministry Equipping School, LEAD Conference + Mass

1. On 28 February-3 March, the annual Archdiocesan LEAD Conference will be combined with a Youth Ministry Equipping School (YMES). Some of our year 11-12 Youth Ministry faith leaders from SFX will attend YMES. The YMES is going to have over 120 young Catholic leaders and youth ministers attend from the Oceania region as well as Cardinal Soane Paita Mafi from Tonga (one of the youngest Cardinals ever appointed by Pope Francis).  This school launches the Youth Academy (ACU accredited) program which gives students an option of attaining 5 bonus ATAR points towards an ACU degree.
2. On Sunday night the 5.30pm mass at the Cathedral will mark the end of the Youth Ministry Equipping School and the beginning of the Catholic Leaders Network Event. All parents, staff and students are welcome to attend the Mass. Please email Jarek.Ferenc@sfx.act.edu.au if you would like to attend the dinner and talk.
3. Cardinal Soane will celebrate the Mass with Archbishop Christopher Prowse. Following the Mass you are invited to a special night event in Haydon hall with a dinner being catered for by our local Tongan community and a keynote presentation from Cardinal Mafi.
